RULE 1: SCORING SYSTEM & FORMAT

1.1 Format: Play shall be governed by Team Gross Stableford rules. Point totals are determined strictly by raw scores relative to Par, with no handicap strokes applied.

1.2 Team Composition: Teams consist of 4 players.

1.3 Team Score Calculation: On each hole, the team’s total score is the combined point total of the team's best 2 gross Stableford score(s) (e.g., Best Ball / 2 Best Balls).

1.4 Winner: The team accumulating the highest total point value across all 18 holes wins the competition.

RULE 2: INDIVIDUAL POINT VALUES PER HOLE

Individual point values awarded on each hole based on gross score relative to Par:

● Albatross (-3): 5 points

● Eagle (-2): 4 points

● Birdie (-1): 3 points

● Par (E): 2 points

● Bogey (+1): 1 point

● Double Bogey or Worse (+2 or worse): 0 points

RULE 3: PACE OF PLAY & MANDATORY PICK-UP

3.1 Pick-Up Rule: Once an individual player reaches Double Bogey (2 over par) on any hole, they have earned 0 points and must immediately pick up their ball.

3.2 Team Contingency: If another player on the team has already recorded a better score that will count for the team's point total, partners who cannot improve the team's score should pick up to maintain pace of play.

3.3 Maximum Score: No negative points are assessed. The minimum score on any hole for an individual or team is 0 points.

RULE 4: SCORECARD RECORDING & VERIFICATION

4.1 Individual Scores: Record each player's actual gross strokes (or "X" / "-" if picked up) and individual points on their designated line.

4.2 Team Points: Record the team's combined counting point total in the designated Team Score row for each hole.

4.3 Attestation: Scorecards must be tallied, signed by the team marker, and attested by a team member upon completion of the round.

RULE 1: FORMAT & SCORING

1.1 Format: Play shall be governed by standard 4-Player Gross Scramble rules.

1.2 Scoring: The team plays as a single unit to record one stroke total per hole. The team with the lowest aggregate 18-hole gross score wins the competition.

1.3 Handicaps: No handicap strokes shall be applied (scratch competition).

RULE 2: SCRAMBLE EXECUTION & PLAYING PROCEDURES

2.1 Tee Shots: All four team members tee off on every hole.

2.2 Shot Selection: The team selects the best tee shot. The position of the chosen ball is marked. 2.3 Through the Green (Fairways, Rough, Hazards):

●     All four players play their next shot from within one club-length of the selected mark, no nearer to the hole.

●     Lie Condition: The original lie condition must be preserved. If the selected ball is in the rough, bunker, or hazard, all players must play from that same surface condition (within one club-length, no nearer the hole).

●     Bunkers: In a bunker, the sand may be smoothed before each player drops/places their ball within one club-length. 

●    On the Putting Green: On the putting green, balls are placed within 4 inches of the marked spot, no nearer to the hole.

●     Tap-In Rule: Once a team member holes out, that stroke count is locked in for the team on that hole. Other team members may still attempt their putts only if doing so could yield a lower total score.

RULE 3: SCORE MAXIMUM & PACE OF PLAY

3.1 Double Bogey Maximum: To maintain pace of play, the maximum score allowed on any hole is Double Bogey (2 over par).

3.2 Mandatory Pick-Up: Once a team reaches Double Bogey without holing out (e.g., missed bogey putt on a Par 4 after 5 strokes), the team must pick up and record a Double Bogey score (e.g., a 5 on a Par 3, 6 on a Par 4, 7 on a Par 5).
