Fiesta Filipino 2021

Two beautiful days of unity, camaraderie and excellence as UPAAA members came together to decorate, volunteer, fix up, participate in the parade and most importantly meet and greet new UP Alumni in Calgary at the UPAAA booth at the Fiesta Filipino 2021. We had 31 UP Alumni registrants, mostly young newcomers to our city. We were able to raise awareness of our group and let visitors know about the scholarship and community projects we will be doing. We raised some funds too by offering free notarial services by CanPhil Law office in exchange for a 10$ donation to UPAAA and by UP Alumni buying the "tatak UP" stuff on display at the booth. Maraming salamat sa lahat ng tumangkilik sa UPAAA booth!
